Payment Options

Merchant Cards:
Orders within Australia can be paid through Visa, Mastercard or Amex. We do not accept payment through Diners Club cards. Please note that the use of Amex as a form of payment incurs a 2% surcharge calculated on the total order charge inclusive of any shipping fees.

PayPal:
If using PayPal, the use of PayPal attracts an additional fee of 2.75% as incurred by us from PayPal.  It is a fee similar to a Credit Card Merchant Fee that is charged by PayPal to us.

Bank Transfer:
Orders within Australia can be paid by Bank Transfer into our bank account via Internet Banking or in person at a financial institution.  Please make mention in the 'Comment field’ during the check out process that payment has been made and what reference was used.
Your order will be processed once payment has been confirmed with our financial institution.

Personal Cheque:
Personal cheques are only accepted if prior approval has been obtained from Muffin Kids.  Goods will not be shipped until payment has been cleared.  Payment can take up to 7 days to clear.

Please ensure that a copy of, or a reference to your order details are posted with the cheque to the following address as soon as possible.  When proceeding through the check out, please make a comment in the comment field advising Muffin Kids of the date the cheque is being posted.

Australia Post Money Orders:
If paying by Australia Post Money Orders, please select this option when proceeding through the check out.  

Goods will not be shipped until payment has been cleared.

Lay-by Options

SORRY MUFFIN KIDS DO NOT OFFER LAYBY ON ANY PRODUCTS AT THIS TIME.

Muffin Kids offers Lay-by as a purchase option on certain specified products.

A deposit of 10% of the product price is requested at the time of order to secure the product.  Please note that this deposit is not refundable.

Payment instalments and timeframes are determined in writing upon consultation with Muffin Kids.

Once payments are made you will receive a receipt confirming the periodic payments.

Full payment is required prior to the release or shipping of the product.

If you fail to make payments and/or do not finalise your lay-by by the due date (without contacting us to arrange an extension) or you wish to cancel your order, your lay-by will be cancelled and all payments will be refunded minus the initial 10% deposit.

Please contact Muffin Kids directly by phone or email if you wish to Lay-by a product as our shopping cart is not configured to accommodate part payments.

The products maintain the property of Muffin Kids until final payment has been made.

Once you receive your items the normal Refund/Exchange policy applies.

If purchasing a product as a Lay-by option, you agree to accept all the terms and conditions of our payment and shipping options.

Use of Feedback/Correspondence received by Muffin Kids

Muffin Kids reserves the right to use and publish any correspondence received, (i.e. printed or in electronic format) for promotional purposes or for posting on our site.  E.g. If Muffin Kids receive an email from a customer or other party for any purpose, by accepting our terms and conditions at the time of purchase, that customer or other party provides Muffin Kids with the authority to publish all or an extract of that correspondence in printed hard copy or on our web site for promotioanl purposes.  The names of the author will not be published apart from initials and a State of Australia unless prior approval has been received from the author of the correspondence prior to publishing from Muffin Kids.  If the author of any correspondence does not provide authorisation for Muffin Kids to publish their correspondence or an extract of their correspondence, they are do notify Muffin Kids accordingly.
