To Calculate your shipping charge!!
Shipping charges are calculated on a cubic weight per item basis, except where otherwise specified.
To calculate your shipping charge, select the product you are interested in by either clicking on the photo or description to display the product specifications. At the top of the specifications page is a large blue box. Enter your post code in the post code field of the shipping calculator at the top of this page then click on the button 'Calc'. Your shipping cost will appear under where you enter your post code.
NOTE:If your Shipping charge does not display (some web browsers may not be compatitable)
Click on ‘Add to Cart’ and proceed to the checkout.Enter your email address and shipping information and select ‘Proceed’.Your shipping charge will be displayed on the 3rd stage of the Shopping Cart and prior to confirming your order and making payment.
The following are our standard delivery instructions etc. NOTE THE AUTHORITY TO LEAVE.
Goods will be shipped by Allied Express PH: 131373 (alliedexpress.com.au) Progress of the delivery can be tracked on their site by entering the Consignment Notice Number and the delivery address post code in the respective ‘Track a Job’ fields located at the top right hand corner of their site. Please note that delivery is unable to be tracked until the goods have been collect from our supplier or Muffin Kids by the courier.
NOTE: In some instances another courier other than Allied Express may be used.
Goods will be shipped with an "Authority to Leave" (unless arranged with the buyer to the contrary or unless the goods are of such a size weight that assistance is required by the customer to unload) which means that the goods will be delivered by the courier irrespective wether someone is able to sign for the goods or not unless you are able to advise of specific delivery instructions. If so are you also able to provide contact phone numbers etc and/or these specific instructions so that I can include these with the Consignment Notice to assist the delivery driver.
Muffin Kids does not authorise second or additional redelivery attempts if the first attempt is unsuccessful. If the driver is unable to deliver the goods for any reason and they leave a card for the receiver to contact them. If the receiver contacts the courier company and arranges for a second or additional delivery attempts, the receiver has entered into a contract with the courier company and is therefore liable for any charges related to second or additional redelivery attempts and therefore any associated redelivery costs will be passed onto the receiver. However is most instances the receiver is also able to collect the goods from their depot at no additional charge. In such a case the driver will leave a pick up contact address or phone number at your address.
Any other alterations to the delivery instructions made without the prior arrangement and agreement of Muffin Kids is the sole responsibility of the purchaser and therefore all associated costs will also be the responsibility of the customer.
Just a reminder that most couriers do not offer shipping insurance.
Delivery time frames are 2 - 5 days for capital cities (Excluding Perth and Darwin). Delivery to other locations is expected within 14 days depending on the location of the customer. Please note that for some remote locations delivery may take slightly longer. Goods are dispatched ASAP after payment is confirmed.
Please note that if unexpected delays occur of if delivery is to a remote location, delivery may take longer.
Shipping of larger items - Customer assistance required
To minimise shipping costs where possible for larger/heavy products, it is requested that the customer be in a position to provide assistance with the unload of the product from the delivery vehicle.
This assistance negates the use of ‘Tail Gate delivery’ which incurs additional delivery surcharges which are passed onto the customer.
In these instances Muffin Kids will provide instructions to the courier company to not use the ‘Tail Gate Delivery’ option and to call the customer prior to delivery requesting assistance to unload.
The customer assistance option will be specified in the product description.
If the customer is not in a position to provide delivery assistance, the goods will be sent with an ‘Authority to Leave’ and a tail gate delivery surcharge added to the total cost for delivery.
Pick Up
If picking up - goods must be paid in full at the time of placing the order and prior to collection.
Pick up is possible for products where specified in their product description.
Details for pick up will be provided on an individual order/product basis.
